Using the site
StitchJam is free to use. Patterns you make from your own pictures are yours, including for items you sell. Make sure you have the right to use the picture you start from.
Free patterns
Our free patterns are free to stitch, bead or crochet. You may give away or sell items you make by hand from them. Please do not sell, repost or share the pattern files or charts themselves; link to the pattern page instead. Public-domain designs are marked as such and are free for any use.
Colors and brands
Floss and bead numbers refer to products of DMC, Anchor, Perler, Hama, Artkal and Nabbi, used only to name colors. StitchJam is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies. Colors on screen are approximate; check against a physical color card before buying large amounts.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. Thread and bead amounts are estimates; buy a little extra. Keep backup files of patterns you care about.
Font licenses
Fraunces is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (license text). The chart symbol font and the stitch alphabets are original StitchJam designs.
